“Multiple Microsoft services, including MS Teams, Outlook, Azure, and Microsoft 365, are currently experiencing disruptions. The majority of the reports of this outage are coming from Indian users. Downdetector has received over 3500 reports for MS Teams alone. Additionally, LinkedIn, a widely-used professional networking platform, is also facing an outage. Reports of disruptions to Outlook have also been recorded by Indian users, with over 3,000 reports thus far.
Microsoft has acknowledged the issue, with a tweet from the Microsoft 365 Status account stating, “We are currently investigating issues that are impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services.”
It appears that the server hosting these Microsoft services may have been affected, as Azure, the company’s public cloud platform, is also facing an outage. As a result, most users of MS Teams are unable to send or receive messages or participate in scheduled calls because of the disruption.”
